Staying In…

Creativity is supposed to flow in times like these. Social media tells us we should be using this time to create. I guess it can be hard to create when you don’t know what day it is, if you’ll have a job when things go “back to normal,” or you’re just focusing on passing your newly online classes. It’s all new and not exactly exciting. I still doodle, paint in watercolors every so often but, mostly I’m just trying to get all my work done for college. I don’t really feel like creating for myself right now. The creative wheels seemed to have stopped turning along with the world.

What I’m trying to say in this rambling blog post is that you shouldn’t feel pressured to create. The creativity will come when it’s supposed to. Focus on your mental health and just keep your portfolio in hindsight. It’ll still be there, waiting for when you’re ready to start creating again. Stay in and stay safe.
