Seven Day Gouache Challenge
During the first week of August, I decided to challenge myself to paint a mini gouache painting every day for seven days! It was a lot of fun cooking up a new idea every day, even if some days I just painted wacky patterns like “Day 2.” I needed something to get the creative juices flowing, and this challenge seems to have done the trick. Although I didn’t tag along to a challenge happening in the art community, I created my own because it’s what I needed at the time. It has inspired me to join along with some more fun challenges this year!
Instagram forced me to continue with this challenge as I posted about the first couple of days so, I had to complete it! As you can see if you check out my Instagram, the challenge forced me to make reels for each of these (even if I had technical difficulties for the first few). This new Instagram feature is not exactly my favorite yet but, I’m so grateful for all the new connections with others out there in the Insta community! Thank you to everyone who engaged and passed on my reels!
