Welcome to my new Quarterly blog!

If this is your first time here, I’d love to reintroduce myself. I’m Tessa Jeanne, a long-time artist from Ohio relocated to Georgia. My true love is painting but, you can also find some drawing, photography, and sculpture throughout my portfolio. I decided to go back to school last year, following my dream to go to Savannah College of Art and Design. This led to some amazing connections, insights, and this website!

With COVID-19, it's definitely been a hard few months. Between school and work, I haven't had time to keep up with my Instagram account or my blog, but I did create quite a lot of art which is the important thing. This past quarter at SCAD really opened my eyes to new techniques and practices that were invaluable. From color theory to figure drawing, I think I created roughly ten new pieces!

While I’d love to keep up with this website more, I think implementing a quarterly blog will give me the leeway to focus on my art and studies. Instagram will probably be more of a weekly thing in the meantime. New quarterly blogs will be posted around the beginning of each quarter of school with new art being added to my portfolio. You can find these photos and more added to my portfolio. A lot of these didn’t make it to my Instagram. Let me know what you think through the contact page! I took the past break to rest up and now I’m getting back to work. Looking forward to sharing some new art with you guys!
